League of Creative Minds, Job Postings 2019-20

Teachers and Educator(s):  Full time and part time positions available

The League of Creative Minds is hiring brilliant and passionate teachers to assist with and focus on advancing innovative education and leadership.  The ideal candidate will have a background in or familiarity with any one or more of the following areas: diplomacy, leadership, history, politics, journalism, economics, ethics, philosophy, and/or law.  Experience teaching and interest in designing courses on innovative topics, and course projects is welcome but not required.  Being a dynamic and intelligent presenter and educator is required.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and we have positions that are currently open.  The expected start date for this role may start immediately.  Competitive salary beginning at 80K with benefits offered.

League Fellowships:  Full time, 5 weeks, Summer 2020                                                                                                       League Fellows should be college or graduate level students pursuing any field of study and are drawn to teaching, research, writing, and/or developing innovative curriculum within a middle school or high school classroom setting. Fellows are typically passionate about history, politics, law, and/or political science; usually from a global perspective. Fellows tend to be outgoing, bright individuals, who are drawn to an intellectual environment, and consistently make substantive contributions to the conversation.  League Fellows consistently achieve excellent marks, have held leadership positions within their own peers, and are hard working individuals. League fellows are friendly and mature young adults in their community and hold sacred the responsibility of being a mentor and role model to League delegates.

Applications for summer 2020 Fellowships have a March 1st deadline.  That said, applications are considered on a rolling basis, therefore it is to your advantage to apply early.  The summer fellowship runs for 5 weeks, in the months of June and July.  This is a paid position in addition to room and board in Palo Alto. League Fellows must be current or recent college graduates and/or current or recent graduate students.  Please submit a CV, a statement of purpose, academic transcript, professional references, and a letter of recommendation.  League Fellows depending on performance earn 1K per week.  League Fellows that are also LCM alumni depending on performance usually earn 1.5K per week.

Part-time only:  League Year-Round Teaching Assistants (TA's)

Several positions for year-round TA's exist for LCM high school, and LCM alumni delegates only.  LCM Year-round TA's earn $25-65 per hour depending on experience.
