Research Associate(s):  Full time and part time positions available

The League of Creative Minds seeks to hire a research associate(s) to assist with and focus on advancing innovative education and leadership.  The ideal candidate will have a background in or familiarity with the following areas: diplomacy, leadership, history, politics and/or law.  The candidate should have experience teaching and be interested in helping design courses on these topics – including creating reading lists, and coming up with innovative course projects.  The candidate should have the ability to design and implement a longitudinal study, and have a background in both quantitative and qualitative research methods.

This position does not involve direct classroom teaching responsibilities, although an opportunity to teach may arise.

League Fellow(s):  Full time, Summer 2019                                                                                                              League Fellows should be college or graduate level students pursuing any field of study that are drawn to teaching, research, writing, and/or developing innovative curriculum within a classroom setting.  Fellows are typically passionate about history or politics and political science, usually from a global perspective.  Fellows tend to be outgoing, bright individuals, who are drawn to an intellectual environment, and consistently make substantive contributions to the conversation.  League Fellows typically achieve excellent grades and have a personable and friendly outlook towards children.  

Applications for summer 2016 Fellowships have an April 1st deadline.  That said, applications are considered on a rolling basis, therefore it is to your advantage to apply early.  The summer fellowship runs for 4 weeks, in the months of June and July.  This is a paid position in addition to room and board in Palo Alto. League Fellows must be current or recent college graduates and/or current or recent graduate students.  Please submit a CV, a statement of purpose, academic transcript, professional references, and a letter of recommendation.

League Interns

Several positions exist for year-round educational internships.  These internships are meant for college students and recent college graduates.  Interns assist in teaching assistant positions,  and engage in a variety of school-related tasks. Please submit a CV, a statement of purpose explaining your interest in employment with the League, an academic transcript, professional references from two teachers, and a letter of recommendation.
